To finish off the rolls of film from my trips, I’ve been taking walks around Glasgow to get a few photos. Here’s a combination of various “end-of-the-roll” walks.
Back in April, I took a walk to Glickman’s Sweet Shop to get some IRN BRU candies. I’ll be bringing some home, so be sure to ask for some when you see me :). Along the way, I took these:
After exams, to finish my second roll from Bute, I took a few shots in the park, then I went to the Gallery of Modern Art.
These next ones are from the Gallery of Modern Art. It was very dark in the gallery, and I’m not one of those people who uses a flash in a museum, so I didn’t take many photos. There were many cool pieces that I just couldn’t capture with my camera. I don’t always ‘get’ art, but the pieces in GoMA were very cool, and they all had plaques to explain them.
This next one is a series of African masks on cinder blocks with plastic rain ponchos. It’s meant to symbolise the experience of Black people in Scotland.
Then today I finished the roll with a couple more pictures of the University.
